Atlas - powered exoskeleton
The Atlas is a powered exoskeleton concept that I created during the fall semester of 2008 at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design.
The Atlas is a powered exoskeleton designed to assist health personnel in repetitive and back straining tasks concerning patient care taking.
The Atlas gives the wearer the ability to lift and handle patients with little effort and strain thus preventing back and other muscular injuries related to inappropriate lifting.
